2 queen beds, 1 bath, full kitchen, living room, front and back patios
Wifi, Central AC/heat, evaporative cooler and fans
All the comforts of home plus gallery artwork of LA pop artist, LA Marler.  It is so nice to stay at the Type Inn all day, unplug and join the slow movement: rest, read, bird watch, slow cook or absorb the sun and beauty of JT… The side yard has a nice view of the Joshua Tree valley and is a good spot to stargaze in the night. Being surrounded by the inspiring typewriter art, the Type Inn is a  great place to get inspired to write. Finish that literary piece! The original artwork throughout the Type Inn is for sale separately than the vacation rental. Just call for credit card purchase over the phone and take the inspiration home with you!
You can take a 1/2 mile walk to a variety of eateries, the health food shop, general stores, gas, yoga…  Bring a bike or hop in the car and onto Hwy 62 in a minute. It’s one block to Park Avenue, which leads to the National Park entrance.
The big shade tree in the front corner of the yard is a great place to hang out, listen to the birds, work on computer or read.
Unplug and do other stuff, read, write, play “good old fashioned” games. 😉 Slow cook.
The property is entirely fenced-in. And the front opens to the backyard. It is perfect for a dog to run. A Dog is an Additional Guest Fee of $25/night and must be entirely picked-up after. Cleaning fee does not include dog poop in the yard!
House is at the top of the hill. Corner lot. Last house on the paved road. Row of mailboxes at edge of yard. Street lamp is great for dark nights.
This house is disabled friendly… There are no stairs inside or out. It is paved from car to door, all the way around. Slight bumps at front and sliding glass door.
We are constantly working on it so it just gets better all the time!
